Patient Portal

We recommend that you register for the patient portal.  The patient portal will enable you to communicate with our staff in a secure manner and ensure that your information (such as contact information and insurance information) is accurate and up to date.  You can also use the patient portal to schedule and reschedule appointments.  There is no additional fee for using the patient portal.

While we recommend that you use the patient portal, it is not required.  We want you to contact us using whatever method is best for you.

If you have never scheduled an appointment at Piedmont Counseling Center before, you can self-register on the patient portal as a new patient.  If you have had an appointment at Piedmont Counseling Center in the past, but don’t currently have access to the patient portal, your clinician can help you access it during a session.  You can also call our office manager, Anne Staley, at 336-497-0741 and she will help you obtain access.

The patient portal is encrypted and compliant with HIPAA and relevant rules and regulations.  If you register for the patient portal and then don’t come for an appointment, that is no problem.  Registering for the patient portal does not obligate you and your information will be kept encrypted and eventually deleted if you never come for an appointment.

You don’t need to be registered for the patient portal to see the times your clinician has available.  Click on your clinician’s name and select the “display availability…” button and you will see a calendar that lists available times.
